Jayden Wallace, an 18-year-old student at North Hall County High in Georgia, is facing charges including first-degree vehicular homicide for the death of math teacher Jason Hughes, 40, in a prank gone wrong. Hughes, who was waiting outside his home when Wallace and his friends began rolling his property with toilet paper, slipped outside and was run over by Wallace as he attempted to drive his truck away. Wallace's family expressed deep sorrow over Hughes' death and pledged to honor his memory by exemplifying Christ. The incident occurred on March 6 and led to the arrest of five other teens, Elijiah Owens, Aiden Hucks, Ana Katherine Luque and Ariana Cruz, who were arrested outside Hughes' home and charged with criminal trespassing and littering. Hughes' wife, Laura, has called for the charges to be dropped.
