Phillies right-hander Aaron Nola will start for Team Italy in the World Baseball Classic semifinal match against Venezuela, replacing previously announced starter Michael Lorenzen. Nola had previously performed well in Italy's win over Mexico. If Italy advances, Lorenzen would likely start a rematch with the United States if they reach the final.
