Agtegra Cooperative plans to build a new feed mill in Faulkton, South Dakota, as part of its support for the livestock industry. The 100,000-ton facility will produce complete grind-mix bulk feed, primarily for swine and poultry farms in the state. Construction is set to begin soon, with the mill expected to be operational in 2027. The project is expected to create about 12 jobs and provide more opportunities for local farmers to grow swine or poultry production or diversify their existing operations. The South Dakota Governor's Office of Economic Development approved the project for a reinvestment payment to support continued livestock development in the region.
