The Close Scrutiny map modifier in Arc Raiders, a part of the Flashpoint update, has reduced overall loot value and allows for the creation of Assessors, which are often not present at the start of the game. These Assessors are located in beams of red light shooting up into the sky, marking their location. The Assessors themselves are three-pronged structures that can be broken open, but opening them triggers a noise alarm that alerts nearby Arc robots and can summon more. If you breach an Assessor, you will likely receive any of the new loot from the Close ScRutiny update. The new Assessor Matrix (New epic-rarity crafting item) can also be found.
