Mia Meno, a junior at Warren High School, has been named Warren's leadoff hitter this season, a first for her. This position was an adjustment from an outfielder and pitcher, but has become her primary position. Meno is already getting the hang of the leadoff spot and a great bunter. She also plays the guitar, which she believes helps her manage anxiety before games. Coach Jenna Charbonneau praised Meno's consistency and ability to play long at-bats, and her dedication to the team.
