Derrick Turton, owner of World Famous House of Mac, has transformed his career into a successful entrepreneur, having previously served as Miami's mac and cheese ambassador. He is now partnering with the Miami Marlins to sell his soul food to baseball fans at loanDepot park for the first time. Turton was convinced by UGK rapper Bun B to open his own restaurant and inspired him to start Trill Burgers. The restaurant, which ships its food nationwide and features celebrities, operates out of one location in Allapattah after COVID forced him to close other locations.
