These questions include whether Alabama's Keelon Russell will be the most important player of 2026, particularly for the quarterback position. The Crimson Tide's Ty Simpson and nearly the entire starting offensive line are gone, and the defense should be strong again, but the offensive line could be short on starting between five and seven freshman or sophomores this season.
