GE Aerospace is investing $55 million in its Huntsville facility and $100 million across the state as part of a $1 billion investment in its operations. The company plans to hire 5,000 people in manufacturing and engineering roles. The investments will be made in 30 communities across 17 states. The 100-acre Huntsville campus produces advanced materials used for ceramic composites used in commercial aircraft.
