SUV Crashes Into Concrete Pillar, Killing 2 People In Marin County: Police

The California Highway Patrol received a call at 12.22am from the public about a silver Toyota Highlander that had veered off the roadway on northbound Highway 101 at the Highway 37 connector, causing it to crash into a concrete pillar. Both passengers, identified as a man and a woman, were pronounced dead at the scene. The area was temporarily closed while emergency services worked, but the roadway was reopened around 4am. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
