Accused Gilgo Beach Killer Could Plead Guilty: Reports

The accused Gilgo Beach serial killer, Rex Heuermann, could plead guilty to the homicides of seven women, including those of sex workers, sex workers and prostitutes. He was first arrested in New York City in 2023 and indicted in Riverhead in 2000. He has also been charged with the murder of a fourth woman, Maureen Brainard-Barnes. If he pleads guilty, sentencing will take place at a later date.
