Stoke-on-Trent City Council allocates £300,000 to tackle flooding

The Stoke-on-Trent City Council has allocated £300,000 to combat flooding, with workers attending 52 incidents across the city over an eight-hour period on 31 October. The majority of these incidents were caused by leaves blocking drains. The council will be able to clear out gullies at least once every two years depending on the severity of the situation.
