Lauderdale-by-the-Sea commission votes to back state designation, renaming road after Donald Trump

A packed commission meeting in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Florida, sparked controversy over the state designation of Commercial Boulevard as President Donald J. Trump Boulevard, which is currently awaiting the governor's approval. This follows a previous vote in September that approved renaming Sea Grape Drive to President. The current designation will go into effect once the governor approves.
