NFL execs have fueled speculation that the Cleveland Browns are planning to trade Myles Garrett, who reportedly agreed to modified language in his deal that allows his option bonuses for 2026, 2027 and 2028 to occur seven days before the start of the regular season. This move is less cumbersome due to a later roster bonus date and lower dead money if they move him before then. Despite this, the Browns are not currently winning a lot with Garrett on the roster and he is an integral part of the team. The team's lack of a strong supporting cast could not be a popular move for the team, as it currently lacks a strong quarterback.
