Former Northeast Ohio soccer coach faces 9 counts of sexual battery involving minor

Former Northwestern Local School District soccer coach, Timothy Boggs, has been charged with nine counts of sexual battery involving a minor. The alleged incidents occurred between Oct. 1, 2024, and April 30, 2025. According to the indictment, Bogg's was involved in sexual activity with the minor while he was a youth coach and private instructor for the victim. His bond was set at $100,000 and he was ordered not to have contact with the victim and not to be a coach or instructor of any children under 18. The charges were accompanied by an "ICE detainer" from the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.
