Popular author and New York University professor Scott Galloway has attributed a type of parenting style, "bulldozer" parenting, to rising rates of depression among teenagers. Galloway cited social media and a type he calls "concierge" or "battling" parenting as the primary drivers. He also highlighted the lack of bullying at schools and the use of sanitary wipes as a preventative measure for children's development. He suggested that getting comfortable with rejection is the only element of true success.
