This comes after reports that Italy refused to allow the US to land war planes at a base in Sicily and Spain closed its airspace to U.S. planes during the conflict. In a separate post on Truth Social, Trump suggested that other countries that couldn't access jet fuel due to the Strait of Hormuz should instead buy from the US. He also warned that the United States won't be there to help anymore.
