Newly-elected Paris mayor Emmanuel Gregoire has set a summer deadline to resolve the long-standing impasse with Paris St Germain over the future of the Parc des Princes. He plans to convene a special session of the Paris council in mid-April to relaunch discussions with the club's Qatari owners and aim to reach clarity by the end of the summer. The issue has been resolved after Gregoie's predecessor Anne Hidalgo ruled out selling the stadium, a position that led to a freeze in discussions and prompted PSG to explore alternative sites outside the city. The club currently holds a long-term lease on the ParC des Princedues until 2044.
