Seattle police arrested Emory Green, one of two people accused of murdering John Nichols III, a father of 3, more than 2,000 miles away from where the deadly attack occurred. Nichols' injuries were so severe that he died 10 months after the attack, which Nichols' father, John Nichols Jr., described as "not right" for his son and three children left behind. Barbara Mathis was arrested and charged with felonious assault and received an additional charge of murder after Nichols III died. Green had been missing since his arrest in Seattle and is awaiting extradition back to Ohio.
