Israeli violinist Tzruya "Suki" Lahav, who toured with the E Street Band during a pivotal five-month period between October 1974 and March 1975, died from cancer at the age of 74. Lahav came into Bruce Springsteen's orbit in 1972 when her husband, record engineer Louis Lahav worked on Greetings From Asbury Park. She was introduced as a one-woman choir during the sessions for the The Wild, The Innocent, and the Born to Run sessions, which included the violin intro to “Jungleland” and a stripped-down rendition of Bob Dylan’s “I Want You”. Her final concert was a Bruce Springstead double bill with Orleans on March 3, 1975, and she returned to Israel with her husband later that month.
