Tornado tears through parts of Enid, Oklahoma

A powerful tornado tore through parts of Enid, Oklahoma, causing significant damage to homes, power poles, and other buildings. The tornado was moved by Vance Air Force Base and was on the ground for approximately 40 minutes. Some residents were trapped in their homes by debris and had to be rescued. The worst damage was to the south side of the city, with several homes destroyed. No immediate fatalities were reported. The air force is closed until further notice, with only essential personnel required to assist in the recovery efforts.
