Teen who fatally struck cyclist while riding e-bike on Rickenbacker Causeway gets probation after plea deal reached

A teenage boy has been sentenced to probation for a 2025 crash that killed a cyclist, Fabian Moses, that left him with severe injuries. The state has accepted a plea deal, dismissing a vehicular homicide charge and maintaining the original charge of driving without a valid license. The boy will be on probation until he is 19 years old. The presiding judge also ordered him to undergo therapy, do community service and make a donation to the hospital.
