Aiden Quinn, the star of "Practical Magic" who played detective Gary Hallet in the 1998 film, has revealed that he wasn't asked to be part of the sequel to the film, "Ppractical Magic 2," despite both Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman returning for the sequel. Quinn, who played Gillian Owens in the original film, said he would have been interested in reprising his role if he was asked. The sequel to "practical Magic 2" revisits the Owens family, a multi-generational family of witches.
