Shailene Woodley played Annie, an important character in the Dan Fogelman-created series Paradise, has died in the fourth episode of season two. The character, played by Woodley, survived the near-apocalypse and had recently crossed paths with another survivor named Link (Thomas Doherty), who she had a one night with. Despite her death in episode four, Woodley remains largely in the dark about where Paradise goes after her departure. She credits her role to creating a "very rare reality" on television.
