UNM women's basketball team secured their fifth consecutive victory by defeating Fresno State 86-64 in their home game at the Pit. The Lobos shot a 60.7% shooting percentage and secured the No. 4 seed for the Mountain West tournament. Destinee Hooks scored 22 points, Joana Magalhães added 19, and Cacia Antonio contributed 13 points and nine rebounds. The win was a momentum-building game for the team, with coach Mike Bradbury receiving a standing ovation for his 200th UNM win. Despite Fresno State's strong perimeter shooting, the margin could have been more modest if not for the Bulldogs. The team outplayed the Bulldogs, outrebounding 34-29 and outscoring them 46-24 in the paint.
