Uniper to pay first dividend in four years as government exit nears

German state-owned utility Uniper (UN0k.DE) has announced it will pay its first dividend in four years as it prepares to return to the stock exchange in an expected ownership exit by the government. The company, which was bailed out of Europe's energy crisis in 2022, proposed a €0.72 per share for 2025. It last paid a dividend in 2021. Uniper also forecasted an adjusted core profit of €1.3 billion for 2026.
