The first full week of August is expected to be warm and pleasant for southeast Wisconsin, with temperatures expected to remain below average throughout the day. However, a developing storm system west will bring rain and possibly storms by midweek. The threat of severe weather depends on how long the morning rain lingers, potentially leading to stronger storms later in the day or evening. Thursday through Saturday will be sunny and mild, with the next storm chance expected to occur early next week.
