U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright has warned that gas prices may not drop below $3 per gallon until next year due to the ongoing war with Iran and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Since the war began on February 28, gas prices have soared and are currently at about $4.04 per gallon.
