Former Knick player, JR Smith, was knocked to the ground during a postgame celebration outside of Madison Square Garden after the Knicks' 137-98 win over the 76ers. Smith, who played for the team from 2011-2015, often returns to watch big Knicks games at The Garden. However, during the celebration, he was knocked from his feet and had to be helped back to his feet several moments later. The incident may deter future ex-Knick players from attending playoff games in the future. The next game will see the third-seeded Knicks attempt to take a 2-0 series lead over the seventh-seeding 76ers in Game 1.
