The 29th Sonoma Intl. Film Festival wrapped up with the Grand Jury Award for best narrative feature for Spanish film "Maspalomas". The festival also included Steven Soderbergh's "The Christophers" for the Audience Award. Over five days, SIFF presented 104 films from 37 countries and hosted filmmaker talks, panels, and culinary pop-ups. The festival's record-breaking attendance and ticket sales highlighted the community's appetite for bold, international cinema and immersive cultural experiences. Other festival winners included the Special Jury Prize in Directing to Marie-Elsa Sgualdo for "Silent Rebellion" (Switzerland), and Chase Joynt for "State of Firsts".
