Comedian Lewis Black's "One Slight Hitch" is set to be performed at Westport Country Playhouse as part of the Script in Hand series. The play, set in 1980s Ohio, explores family dynamics, relationships, and the unpredictability of major life events. The staged reading will be directed by Kevin O’Rourke and part of a play that explores a wedding day disrupted when an unexpected guest from the bride's past arrives. Black, known for his stand-up comedy and television appearances, has also written several plays and books and has received Emmy and Grammy awards.
