‘WhatsApp Plus’ subscription launching soon with new features

WhatsApp is planning to launch a new paid subscription service, 'Whatsapp Plus', which is currently available for select beta testers at about $2.99/month. The service has been launched in the app's Android beta ahead of an iOS rollout. This move is part of Meta's growing ambitions to generate subscription revenue from its massive user base. The launch of the new subscription is expected to be a broader launch across iOS, Mac, and all platforms.
