Oliver Jones is set to leave Apple TV after six years and join Amazon MGM Studios as senior commissioner for U.K. scripted shows. The studio's vice president & head of international originals, Nicole Clemens, will work alongside Jones on the commissioning of new U.k. shows starting in May. Jones will relocate from L.A. back to London for the role. Commissioners Gemma Brandler and Punit Mattoo will report to Jones. The appointment highlights Amazon's commitment to telling ambitious, provocative stories and the increasing investment in the UK.
