Passing Triad thunderstorms remain possible Thursday morning

The National Weather Service is reporting that there is still a significant chance of thunderstorms across the Triad, with passing thunderstorms possible Thursday morning. The weather is expected to cool down a little bit, but temperatures are expected to remain mild. The National Weather Council is monitoring a band expected to move across the Southwestern section, which will likely impact our chances of rain. The last day of April is the last of April, with temperatures forecast to be below 47 degrees Fahrenheit. There are also reports of severe weather warnings out of the area, but mild temperatures are predicted for the next few days. Despite a few isolated incidents of rain, the weather has been mild and steady rainfall throughout the day.
