The third time the Holo Holo Fest will be held in San Diego, California, will celebrate Pacific Islander culture at Waterfront Park. The festival, which includes reggae-style music, local food, and cultural dancing, is set to be attended by thousands of people from San Diego and beyond. Several island favorites, including The Green, Hirie, High Watah, Ekolu, Natural Vibrations, Wavvy and Pau Hana, will perform. The company overseeing these festivals, Good Vibez, has added Holo Holo to its list of traveling reggae festivals in 2022, inspired by owner Dan Sheehan, who was raised in Hawaii and wanted to create "a love letter" to the islands. The event has grown since its inception and is seen as a "small seedling into a big plant" driven by a love of uniting people.
