Ryan Gosling Exits The Daniels Untitled Event Film at Universal Pictures

The casting of Ryan Gosling for The Daniels' untitled event film at Universal Pictures has been halted due to scheduling conflicts. The film, which secured a tax credit in California, was not able to shift from its summer start to a release date of Nov. 19, 2027. The casting of Gosling, who is currently on the rise after the release of Project Hail Mary for Amazon MGM Studios, could potentially launch a new franchise for the studio. The movie is part of an overall deal with Universal for the film's Playgrounds banner and marks the follow-up to the award-winning Everything Everything Everything All at Once.
