Rhode Island Jobs Up By 500 In 1 Month: DLT

The state Department of Labor and Training reported that in March, the number of jobs in Rhode Island increased by 500 to 5,000. However, the state's unemployment rate remained at 4.7%, a tenth of a percentage point. The number of unemployed individuals increased by 200 from February to 27,400. The employed population also increased by 1,900 less than the previous month and 8,200 more than year.
