The severe weather weekend in Northern California was particularly impactful for the Folsom community, with heavy rains and powerful winds sweeping across Northern California. The community was largely relieved after a relatively drier Sunday, but also experienced widespread power outages. A massive sinkhole was discovered along Prewett Drive and Newington Drive, believed to be storm-related, causing water levels to rise and debris to cover the streets. The Frolom Fire Department and Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) are assisting in cleaning up the mess. However, residents in Froloms' Lexington Hills area also awoke to a major sinkhole that blocked the entire road.
