Atlanta man, Ernesto Taylor, has been kicked out of his apartment by his landlord for complaining of heavy flooding. Taylor had repeatedly raised the issue with the property management company overseeing his unit, Braden Fellman, which responded with a termination notice. The termination came after Taylor advised his landlord that routine indoor flooding was untenable and urgent. The company responded by stating that the anticipated duration of repairs forced them to vacate the unit for an extended period. However, Sasan Nematbakhsh, a landlord-tenant attorney in Atlanta, said the timing of the lease termination letter was questionable given Taylor's repeated maintenance requests.
