A man, identified as James Cook, was arrested after officers from the Ceres Police Department found a loaded firearm during a traffic stop. The police found the weapon during a probation compliance search and removed Cook from the vehicle. He was arrested on multiple firearm-related charges and is currently being held in the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
