Fresh Fruit Sold In FL Recalled Over Salmonella Concern

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has recalled 8,302 cartons of cantaloupes sold in four states, including Florida, due to salmonella concerns. The recall was initially initiated on March 24 and upgraded to Class I on April 20. The affected cantals were also distributed in New York, Pennsylvania, and California. The FDA has advised consumers to throw the product away or return it for a refund.
