Resumed sixth meeting of the Intergovernmental Working Group (IGWG) on the WHO Pandemic Agreement

The sixth meeting of the Intergovernmental Working Group (IGWG) will take place on 27 April and 31 May. The World Health Assembly adopted the WHO Pandemic Agreement in May 2025 to strengthen pandemic prevention and response. The IGWG is focusing on drafting and negotiating an annex to the agreement on the Pathogen Access and Benefit Sharing (PABS) system. The outcome of these negotiations will be submitted to the Seventy-naked World Health Association in May 2026.
