Hassal Mehta and Sahil Saigal's True Story Films, a production company launched by Mehtta and Mehtata, are expanding their slate to include large-scale action films, regional language cinema, and an AI-powered food series. The company revealed several new projects, including “Porbandar’s’, an action film to be directed by MeHTa himself, and “Kehar Singh,” the next film from director Ajitpal Singh. They also revealed details on “Ranveer Singh-led post-apocalyptic thriller ‘Pralay’ currently in pre-production. ‘Mehfooz’ has completed its development phase and has a studio on board, but is still seeking a director. The firm is currently in production on a romantic musical directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, featuring songs by A.R. Rahman and introducing a new female lead.
