Las Vegas soccer coach accused of sexually assaulting teen takes plea deal

Sergio Reyes Rojas, a 44-year-old soccer coach from Las Vegas, has accepted a plea deal to charges related to sexual assault with a child under 16 years old and second-degree kidnapping. He faces a minimum of three years in prison and lifetime supervision as a sex offender. The alleged assault occurred on Nov. 24, when the girl, who was under the influence of alcohol, reported feeling unwell and wanting to harm herself after being sexually assaulted. Reyes Roja, who served as director and coach at Las Vegas Diversity FC, is scheduled to be sentenced on May 20.
