Red Sox reliever Greg Weissert has been instrumental in Italy's successful World Baseball Classic run, with a five-out save that sent Puerto Rico home and advanced Italy to the penultimate round of the tournament. This marks Weissert's third save of the WBC and could be a significant boost for the team if necessary. He has five career saves and a 2.97 ERA over 134 appearances since being acquired by the Red Sox.
