A Virginia woman, Danielle Brown, claims she was jailed for three nights after mistakenly identifying as a suspect wanted in another county. The incident occurred on March 9 at the Caroline County Sheriff’s Office and has led to an internal investigation by local authorities. Brown was placed in handcuffs after her Social Security number and date of birth were identified as an alias used by Julia Bickford, a woman wanted on an arrest warrant in Chesterfield County. Despite Brown's objections, authorities decided to detain Brown and transfer her to another facility where they could verify her identity using her identification, Department of Motor Vehicles photos and other records.
