Western Michigan is expected to hire UT Rio Grande Valley's Kahil Fennell as its next head coach, following a successful season where the Vaqueros achieved their best conference record in their history. Fennennell will replace Dwayne Stephens, who was fired after four seasons. The move comes as Western Michigan plans to provide more revenue share money to the men's basketball program for the upcoming offseason, and is aiming to be in the top half of the Midwestern Conference.
