Hospitals ramp up for NFL Draft crowds

Pittsburgh's hospital systems are preparing for the NFL Draft, anticipating record crowds and late nights. The hospitals are expanding services across the event's footprint to reduce reliance on resources. Allegheny Health Network and UPMC are partnering with the city and the NFL to ensure the event is successful. AHN Prehospital Care and Allegheny General will staff at least three medical forts near Acrisure Stadium, providing on-site care. UPUC will also staff a network of aid tents in high-traffic areas across the North Shore and Downtown.
