The City of Albuquerque is seeking public feedback on renaming public sites named after civil rights leader Cesar Chavez following allegations of sexual assault. The city is considering renaming spaces named after Chavez, including the Cesar Chantantant community center and park, as well as roads named Avenida Cesar. A recent stabbing incident resulted in the death of a male victim, identified as Colin Bilagody, who allegedly stabbed Tyren Begay in the chest with a large kitchen knife at an apartment complex in Albuquerque. Students at Rio Grande High School are preparing for the school's agriculture and nutrition program, which partners with local farms to teach students about the industry. Despite the lowest snowpack on record, Red River is down nearly $160,000 year-to-date and lost around $10,000 in lodger's tax, an estimated 12% drop from January.
