NFL tells teams to zip it over CBA talks with NFL Referees Association

The NFL has issued a memo to all teams regarding the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) negotiations with the NFL Referees Association, instructing them to refrain from public comment. This move comes after the 2011 lockout of players, with the league previously fined Cowboys owner and G.M. Jerry Jones at least $100,000 for violating this order. The memo also contained predictable propaganda about the CBA battle, emphasizing that while the league has high regard for the game officials, the union continues to resist efforts to raise their salaries at nearly double the rate achieved by players over their last two collective bargaining agreements.
