A traffic stop in North Miami turned into a dangerous pursuit, with police forced to fire to stop the driver. The driver, 24-year-old Tavaris Palacios, fled from police in Miami Beach and was arrested. The incident occurred when police spotted a Mercedes with illegal window tints and attempted to stop him near the 900 block of Ocean Drive. This caused public safety concerns due to the large volume of pedestrian traffic. Palacos was caught and is facing multiple charges, including fleeing, eluding, refusing to obey a lawful order of a police officer, and reckless driving.
